Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY Serves as the CSAT representative for planning, formulating, implementing, and evaluating training programs and policies covering CSAT-specific grant training, career development programs, and performance consulting services for the Center. Provides overall leadership and consultation to CSAT regarding programs and projects related to the training and development of new and current generations of professional and administrative staff and interns. Responsible for the development and implementation of policies regarding CSAT training initiatives and related activities. Creates, initiates, implements, manages, and evaluates a comprehensive strategic plan for enhancing the training and development of staff to support current and new public health grant programs and other initiatives being administered and managed by the Center. Bases plan on the Center's immediate and long-range program plans, direction, and policies, and the current and anticipated needs of the Center. Presents strategic training plan to Center leadership, to ensure alignment with the Center's mission. Responsible for designing, managing, and implementing assessments to develop and maintain an understanding of the Center's training and development needs via a variety of mechanisms. Conducts and/or oversees focus groups and interviews. Provides leadership on interdisciplinary teams and work groups. Represents CSAT on HHS/SAMHSA and inter-departmental committees and working groups related to training and development. Creates and facilitates learning and development groups to ensure the strategic plan stays in alignment with the Centers strategic initiatives and operating strategies. Performs work involving modification of training courses that adapts to the learner and improves the learning experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications: (if applicable) AT THE GS-13:Specialized Experience: To qualify for this Personnel Security Specialist (Adjudicator) position at the GS-13 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-12 level in the federal service.
