Duties
Logistics Management Specialist responsible for the overall development, coordination and control of assigned international logistics programs.
Plan, coordinate, and direct the requirements determination process for assigned international logistic program requests.
Determine each country's unique requirements for equipment, software, system interfaces, technical assistance, contractor training, and documentation based on knowledge of system configuration and technical characteristics.
Participate in planning phases at international logistics program presentations and program management reviews to foreign government representatives in CONUS and OCONUS.
Establish and conduct continual international logistics programs review and analysis to identify problems, necessary resource adjustments, and/ or program schedule revision.
Develop and coordinate long-range plans for the conduct of the international logistics programs and ensures visibility within the project organizational elements.
Requirements

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Practitioner Level II in the Acquisition Career Field Life Cycle Logistics within 5 years of entrance on duty.
- DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification, Basic, within 1 year of entrance on duty.

One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing and evaluating (FMS) Foreign Military Sales policies and procedures that are outlined in the Security Assistance guidelines and regulations; including providing logistical support for foreign military sales to include determining country's unique system requirements; developing/justifying/and consolidating proposals for funding requirements; and evaluating methods and techniques for overall management control of a country's (FMS) Foreign Military Sales requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
