About the Position: Serves as a Management and Program Analyst within the Civilian Corps office to administer a variety of programs in support of the Army Medical Department Civilian Corps located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Responsible for providing administrative support, development, execution, evaluation, and integration of programs such as the AMEDD Civilian Corps Strategic Map; Workforce Development Programs and Army Medicine Wolf Pack Awards. Serves as quality control and provides technical advice for several special projects. Plans, analyzes and coordinates administrative activities within the Civilian Corps office and advises on matters pertaining to Corps programs and initiatives. Attends meetings and conferences representing the Deputy Corps Chief/Corps Proponent Officer or Civilian Corps Chief for assigned projects when necessary.

Specialized Experience GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with administrative support to civilian programs (e.g. Workforce Development, Civilian Career Management, Talent Management); knowledge management/automation tools to enter, retrieve, and analyze data for reports; preparing informative briefings, position papers and reports for presentation to senior leadership; provide assistance to general management of budget principles and processes in support of programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Organizational Development, Business Administration. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. OR Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative support to civilian programs (e.g., Workforce Development, Civilian Career Management, Talent Management); using knowledge management/automation tools to enter, retrieve, and analyze data for reports; preparing informative briefings, position papers and reports for presentation to senior leadership; provide general management of budget principles and processes in support of programs. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
