About the Position: This position is located the Office Chief of Legislative Liaison, Arlington, VA
Duties
Serves as the focal point for staff integration, tasking's, staff coordination, and dissemination of information.
Analyzes and evaluates issues that are typically diverse in nature, requiring input from OCLL Divisions and Secretariat and Army Staff elements.
Develops, implements and maintains a system of records to ensure quality control of all correspondence and staffing packages to and from OCLL.
Responsible for managing the operational schedule of the CLL and ensuring coordination with the OCLL master calendar.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position may require temporary duty (TDY) business travel up to 5%.
- Secret clearance required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of experience which includes providing a full range of administrative functions within an office, identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency, and making recommendations for changes; utilizing automated travel systems such as, Defense Travel System (DTS) on all matters pertaining to travel, such as, coordinating funding, scheduling flights, preparing itineraries, etc.; managing short and long range calendars exercising control over appointments with authority for making changes and adjustments; communicating with/understanding Army congressional entities, preparing correspondence such as draft letters, memoranda, and briefings and reviews outgoing documents to ensure technical accuracy with regard to format, typographic, and grammatical accuracy.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
