You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT ASSISTANT (O/A) in the Southwest Regional Fleet Transportation Division, Inventory Management Branch of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
You will track and monitor motor vehicle assets, mileages, accidents and utilization. Conduct physical inspections of motor vehicles for accountability.
You will enter vehicle data into a database and use of computers and printers. As well as research local and federal regulations as it applies to government vehicles.
You will maintain professional relationships with all units' vehicle Responsible Individuals by email, phone and in-person.
You will prepare, process and track correspondence requesting disposition; coordinate delivery of equipment.
You will ensure automated management information systems inventory reflects vehicle assignment status, cumulative and current mileage and hours of operations, and reconcile with current transportation system and inventory files.
You will research, coordinate, resolve customer complaints and problems.
You will perform annual fleet vehicle inventories, prepare and review fiscal year procurement status and utilization reports.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing administrative tasks to support the utilization, transfer, and disposal of equipment.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
