About the Position: The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) develops and delivers responsive aviation, missile and calibration materiel readiness to the U.S. Army. Serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist with the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) located in Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Duties
Provides high-level managers and military planners background information, planning rationales, and alternatives.
Supports an understanding of the Command's Affirmative/EEO Program.
Develops performance standards.
Implements ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to production, promote team building or improve business practices.
Defines problems, develop recommendations for issues and resolutions of issues to be addressed.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The employee must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service that includes: implementing logistics policies, processes, and/or programs for highly complex weapon systems; developing solutions to multipart challenges in support of mission objectives; communicating actions to diverse team with varying skill sets, while using conflict resolution to reduce barriers to production and support teambuilding.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).
