This position is located in the e-Discovery Group, Legal Information Technology Unit in the Legal Division and provides support on matters related to all forms of litigation. Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill identical vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.
Duties
-Coordinates eDiscovery efforts among litigation teams, outside counsel, FDIC IT personnel and other agency stakeholders. In this capacity, the incumbent acts as a de facto translator of non-technical eDiscovery requests by insuring that all electronic and other information gathering resources are correctly implemented to provide prompt access to electronically stored information.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. For CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience managing and administering automated litigation support technology, including Microsoft Purview Premium or Standard eDiscovery, and others (e.g., Veritas eDiscovery Platform (Clearwell), and Relativity) through the various stages of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM); managing and coordinating litigation support services or projects for eDiscovery requests; and providing technical advice in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of eDiscovery support systems.

Problem Solving - This skill is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant monitors current trends or events (for example, technological, economic, political, social, educational, or employment trends or events) and applies the information as appropriate.
