Duties
You will plan and complete routine assignments in accordance with pertinent regulatory material and established policies and procedures.
You will ensure the industrial facility, machinery, equipment, systems, utilities, and support functions remain viable to allow the work of the shops and codes to continue uninterrupted.
You will assist to facilitate the installation and removal of machinery, systems and equipment necessary to conduct business within their assigned spaces to support the senior manager(s) occupying assigned buildings and facilities.
You will monitor progression of work to completion through a series of inspections and fact finding analysis; promptly reports findings through approved reporting programs and maintains records in accordance with regulatory guidance.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
GS-11- Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience using safety codes and regulations applicable to the industrial facilities in NNSY.
Experience performing duties as building monitor assuring all aspects of the facility are kept in a safe condition.
Experience using fire prevention and protection codes, instructions on Occupational Safety Health and Environment (OSHE) safety codes and fall protection instructions.
Experience using regulations and instructions for the safe storage and use of hazardous materials and waste.
Experience using electrical, steam, water, gas, and air piping systems in the assigned facilities to address report and repair issues involving the safe use of these utilities in the facility.
GS-09- Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience using safety codes and regulations applicable to the industrial facilities in NNSY.
Experience using fire prevention and protection codes, instructions on Occupational Safety Health and Environment (OSHE) safety codes and fall protection instructions.
Experience using regulations and instructions for the safe storage and use of hazardous materials and waste.
Experience identifying and reporting fire safety deficiencies through facility and zone inspections
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

GS-11- Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent Doctoral degree OR Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR Possession of an LL.M., that is related to this position being filled.
GS-09- Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR Possession of an LL.B. or J.D., that is related to this position being filled.
