About the Position: This position is located with 58TH trans at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Perform a wide variety of supply clerical duties within an automated supply system such as receiving, reviewing, and interpreting a variety of supply regulations, bulletins, and manuals.
Purchase supplies for the organization through small purchase procedures using a government credit card.
Operate motor vehicles (sedans, pickup trucks or vans) weighing up to 1 ton to pickup, deliver and turn in supplies and equipment.
Prepare as variety of recurring reports, such as copier report, supplies/equipment on order, fund expenditure, etc.
Develop internal procedures for requesting, requisitioning, purchasing and receiving supplies (e.g., office supplies, office furniture, parts for computers, printers, ribbons, forms, etc.).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid state driver's license is required and must be maintained for this position.
- Incumbent is subject to a medical clearance examination prior to employment. This position may require an annual physical or medical surveillance examination.

Generalized Experience: Must possess generalized experience, education, or training which includes performing a variety of clerical and administrative support duties, preparing forms for the purpose of obtaining supplies, data entry, and operating a motor vehicle to pick up and distribute supplies. This definition of generalized experience can be formal training or typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
