About the Position: This position is located in Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY & Clarksville, TN about 45 miles NW of Nashville. The cost of living is lower than the average for all major U.S. cities. This position services the Department of Emergency Medicine. Working environment will be at multiple locations within the Emergency Center.

Duties

Coordinate with vendors when returning products. Report and resolve any credit card purchasing discrepancies. Perform purchase requests as the primary logistics point of contact (POC) for one or more assigned functions within the Department. Monitor all orders placed in the DMLSS system. Perform government purchases using a Government Purchase Card. Analyze a variety of problems through research to determine the best way to purchase supplies.

Requirements

• This position requires Travel (TDY) up to 5%.
• This position requires moderate to heavy lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has been designated Weather Essential. In the event of inclement weather conditions, the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• This position requires a pre-employment physical examination.
• This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
