Duties

You will advise personnel on alternative approaches to solve customer issues. You will oversee the processing of facility service calls within the NAVFAC Washington AOR. You will manage a schedule and distribute work to execute the daily workload. You will follow guidelines and implement policies and procedures. You will create written reports to update managers and stakeholders, and regularly review maintenance system data. You will use Maximo Enterprise Maintenance Management System to prioritize and manage work (e.g. service calls, preventative maintenance, vehicle maintenance and dispatch, material procurement and receipting).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing customer service, using strong communication skills with internal and external customers utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System; 2) Processing of emergency and routine facility service calls; 3) Manage a schedule and distribute work to execute daily workload; 4) Follow guidance in order to implement policy and procedures; and 5) Develop and issue reports and review maintenance system data to identify issues and areas for improvement in a call center. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR

OR
