You will serve as a IT PROJECT MANAGER (PLCYPLN) in the Expeditionary Warfare Department, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Charleston SC

Duties

You will be accountable for assisting the IPT Lead in developing the cost, schedule, and performance expectations of assigned projects with regards to planning, direction, and success of IT program/systems development and research or technology. You will manage cost, schedule, performance, and risk of a small to medium project or multiple IPT/Division level resource and acquisition management requirements. You will prepare IT budgets and assist with development, planning, and subsequent execution of IT program acquisition plans including schedules, cost estimates, risk management and resource requirements. You will manage high-ranking stakeholder requirements from external agencies which may include highly unstructured settings to justify, defend, negotiate, or settle matters involving significant or controversial issues.

• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 level Intermediate (I) within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Prepare IT budgets and assist with development, planning, and subsequent execution of IT program acquisition plans including schedules, cost estimates, risk management and resource requirements to meet cost, schedule, and performance constraints.
