You will serve as a OFFICE AUTOMATION ASSISTANT in the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery of NAVENPVNTMEDU 5 SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will serve as a point of contact for the Defense Travel System.
You will assist in providing guidance and training concerns with Defense Travel system (DTS).
You will review all correspondence submitted for Officers in charge (OIC).
You will oversea day to day work performed by clerical an office automation.
You will schedule meetings, appointments and conference in accordance with instructions from supervisor.
You will remind supervisor and others of scheduled events to ensure prompt and timely attendance.
You will make calendar available to supervisors.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized Experience. Examples of Qualifying Experience:
Experience providing guidance to staff with the use of the Defense Travel System (DTS) in regards to travel authorizations, vouchers, air and vehicle reservations, per diem calculations, and miscellaneous travel expenses.
Experience drafting Navy Correspondence in accordance with the Navy Correspondence Manual as well as knowledge of Microsoft software used to prepare reports and Outlook Calendar maintenance.
Experience proofreading documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proper formatting.
Experience formatting internal and external corresponded submissions and Navy award processing through BUPERS Online (BOL).
Experience maintaining office supply and ordering, Government Purchase Card (GPC) Program limitations, and preparation of supply requisitions.
Experience filing and maintaining electronic and paper files to include classified document control procedures.
