Qualifications

What are we looking for? Four years’ experience in a human services field.  Successful completion of a full 4-year course study in any field leading to a Bachelor’s Degree, from an accredited college or university is preferred.  Skill in interviewing and counseling clients to assess needs, identify resources, provide information, and make appropriate referrals to other agencies. Knowledge of adult learning theory and required techniques to develop and deliver relocation-related workshops and briefings scheduled regularly. Knowledge of the Marine Corps culture and community. Knowledge of information systems, specifically the Internet and utilizing Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarization with Marine Corps and DoD housing policies, and transportation-specifically personal property management and its’ web-based systems. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
