This position will also encompass Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Management supporting the SAP environment. As a part of the NT security team, the selectee will be the frontline of protecting collateral and critical program information for AFNWC/NT. Eligible candidates are expected to possess at least 5 years of experience with multiple security disciplines and communicate expertise within the application. Highly competitive candidates should have experience working as a security manager.
DUTIES:
Serve as the NT Collateral Primary Security Manager, Alternate SAP security, and Alternate Special Security Representative.
Manage directorate physical, personnel, information, and industrial security requirements.
Direct activities of assigned contractor personnel.
Implement processes, train directorate personnel, and review or assist in the preparation of acquisition security.
Evaluate new concept, security regulations, and ideas of technical and management importance to make informed recommendations for Directorate leadership.
Provide policy, guidance, and associated training for Information Protection disciplines.
Manage facility certification and plan for future projects.
Examine security initiatives, protection measures, and processes for application across platform, system, and organizational lines.
Develop and prioritize organizational security and information protection performance goals and mission objectives.
Develop operating procedures and plans, acquisition security concept, and implementation plans.
Identify and validate mission security requirements through evaluation or development of security elements of applicable program.
Effectively provide briefings and keep NT Directorate, Division Chiefs and assigned personnel informed on security programs.

- Obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance.
- Locations are not negotiable. The actual duty locations available may be located on the Air Force Civilian Service website.
- This is a drug testing position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.

- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
- The employee must obtain and maintain the required Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) Certification conferrals within 2 years.
- The employee must demonstrate mastery of a wide range of advanced concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices involved in security.
- The employee must demonstrate mastery of security program interrelationships to coordinate the objectives and plans of two or more specialized programs to support and promote information sharing and strategies.
- Work may occasionally require the employee to work outside the normal business hours.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of physical, information, industrial, personnel, and operations security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement security programs in these areas.
2. Knowledge of required security training concepts, programs, procedures, and practices to assist managers in establishing and operating internal security programs.
3. Knowledge of SCI and NATO procedures.
4. Skill in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the installation.
5. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately.
