You will serve as a Nuclear Mechanical Continuing Training & Development Coordinator in the Mechanical Shop (Code 930), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

You will participate in organizing, scheduling, coordinating, and evaluating the Continuing Training and Development Program. You will coordinate procurement, storage, and the use of instructional materials and textbooks, audio visual aids, training devices, and laboratory equipment You will establish metrics to identify material costs expended by each fiscal year for overhead expenditures. You will work with other resource shop managers to ensure work rotations for subject matter experts and senior mechanics support the Continuing Training and Development Program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying a comprehensive range of principles, concepts, and practices concerning equipment facility, or service operations with complicated technical requirements. Experience utilizing advanced knowledge of various training methods, procedures, devices, and resources. Experience preforming research to develop and maintain a broad knowledge of all phases of employee development and training. Experience determining the procurement, storage, and use of instructional materials and textbooks, audio-visual aids, training devices, and laboratory equipment. Experience maintaining comprehensive electronic (PDF and o MS Word) file of Mechanic Training Folders (CTD Related). Experience drafting Quarterly CTD Program Assessment for the CTDL/ND/Director. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience organizing, scheduling, coordinating, and evaluating a continuing education training program; Experience auditing qualification records for compliance with established guidelines; Experience procuring, storing, and using various media for instructional materials, including textbooks, audio-visual aids, training devices, and laboratory equipment; Experience maintaining comprehensive electronic training folders for a large scale continuing education program. GS-09:

A. Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
B. 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
C. LL.B. or J.D., if related
