About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Surgery (OR) at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) with the Defense Health Agency, Indo-Pacific Market, Hawaii Region. TAMC is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices.

Duties

Plans, directs, and coordinates supply operational activities that involve purchasing equipment and supplies, conducting inventories, issuing supplies and procurement official for all credit card purchases. Provide support to the Directorate of Surgery (Operating Room) on all medical credit card purchases; deliver, move, maintain, take inventory, and dispose of supply items, equipment, and furniture. Performs research to plan and determine current and anticipated customer requirements and initiates action to maintain supply stock levels. Manages approximately 1000 stocked standard and nonstandard medical items and unlimited number of non-stocked standard and nonstandard, durable, or expendable, and non-expendable items. Reviews, edits, and makes necessary adjustments to all General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) transactions.
