About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Surgery (OR) at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) with the Defense Health Agency, Indo-Pacific Market, Hawaii Region.

Duties
Plans, directs, and coordinates supply operational activities that involve purchasing equipment and supplies, conducting inventories, issuing supplies and procurement official for all credit card purchases.
Provide support to the Directorate of Surgery (Operating Room) on all medical credit card purchases; deliver, move, maintain, take inventory, and dispose of supply items, equipment, and furniture.
Performs research to plan and determine current and anticipated customer requirements and initiates action to maintain supply stock levels.
Manages approximately 1000 stocked standard and nonstandard medical items and unlimited number of non-stocked standard and nonstandard, durable, or expendable, and non-expendable items.
Reviews, edits, and makes necessary adjustments to all General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) transactions.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes using an automated system to purchase supplies; inventory supplies; assist with resolving discrepancies of supply shortages and damages; and dispose of supplies in accordance with standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Education: One full academic year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as logistics management, supply chain management, or business management. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages. Education
