You will serve as a ELECTRONICS INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC in the DEFENSIVE WEAPONS SYSTEMS SHOP (SHOP 67E), COMMAND AND CONTROL SYSTEMS DIGITAL REPAIR DIVISION (TRF-720), WEAPONS REPAIR DEPARTMENT (TRF-700) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will troubleshoot and repair of Defensive Weapons and Data Processing Systems to meet operational specifications.
You will troubleshoot and repair Command and Control Systems (CCS) MK-2B1C and AN/BYG-1 Defensive Weapons subsystems to meet operational specifications.
You will troubleshoot and repair External Hull Penetrators (EHP) to meet operational specifications.
You will troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to meet operational specifications.
You will troubleshoot and repair Multi-function servers, Enhanced Control Display Workstations (ECDW), Horizontal Decision Workstation (HDW), Vertical Large Screen Display (VLSO), and executive workstations to meet operational specifications.
You will troubleshoot and repair of tactical weapons simulator and Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) to meet operations specifications.
You will utilize measuring and testing equipment for the repair of ship/submarine systems.
You will conduct Maintenance and Repair of TRIDENT submarines to meet production goals and command mission.
Requirements

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Incumbent must maintain an IT level II designation.
- May be required to work overtime, second or third shift. Work may be required onboard submarines and at sea for short periods of time (sea trials, etc.)

including repairing , aligning, and adjusting major integrated electronic components and subsystems; predicting the progressive effects of malfunctions throughout the interrelated subsystems of the TRIDENT data processing, defensive communications subsystems, and interface systems; adapting standard formulas to the specific requirements of the integrated systems; reading and comprehending technical, diagnostic, operation and electronic repair manuals; tracing the effects of change in one subsystems to other integrated subsystems; ability to work independently with limited supervision to meet production schedules; ability to communicate clearly with others verbally & in writing to ensure clarity of mission & objectives.
