This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Assistant Commandant for Intelligence (CG-2), Office of Strategy and Engagement (CG-2X), Washington, DC.
Duties
You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst managing the day-to-day operations of the Coast Guard's (CG) internal congressional activity to include CG Congressional Hearing preparation, responses to Congressional Committee Staffers and Members, and other requests for briefings, visit and information.

- Must be willing to complete a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).

- Eligibility for TS/SCI
- A state's drivers license is required.

Qualifications
GS-13: Qualifying experience for the GS-13 level includes one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal sector. Specialize experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular abilities, skills and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position. Specialized experience related to this position are analyzing and evaluating various aspects of mission-oriented program activities; developing long range plans, goals, objectives and milestones; identifying and developing ways of accomplishing principal program goals and objectives; and evaluating various studies, program reviews, or inspections.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The Office of Personnel management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
