About the Position: Serves as the administrative support specialist for a variety of administrative staff actions across the organization of assignment for the Army Futures & Concepts Center and Capability Development Integration Directorate.
Duties
Serves as co-security program administrator for the organization.
Ensures policies and procedures for overall personnel and building security are enforced.
Establishes/updates and implements physical security and anti-terrorism plans and procedures.
Provides direct assistance to staff on the use/operation of the Defense Travel System (DTS).
Utilizes a financial, asset, and accounting management system (e.g., General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Paperless Contract Files) for purchases and contract execution.
Maintains and reconciles GPC billing statements and resolves discrepancies.
Serves as primary timekeeper, maintains accurate time and attendance records.
Reviews incoming message traffic and documents (e.g., correspondence, reports, studies, decision papers, fact sheets) from both internal and external sources.
Assists branch chiefs in preparing for periodic conferences, workshops, and similar meetings to be hosted by CCOE or CDID, both locally and out of the area.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year term/probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

FOR GS-0301-09:
Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service which includes: (1) Technical experience using GFEBS-General Fund Enterprise Business System; AND (2) Technical experience as the Lead Government Purchase Card Holder for an agency. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading in a field appropriate for the position which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
