About the Position: Serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for administrative support programs to include, Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program and unit recognition programs.
Duties
Prepare administrative reports. and various administrative and clerical tasks.
Responsible for internal operations to include administrative training.
Responsible for programs to include but not limited to task management, travel card/purchase card program and/or travel system administrator, civilian timecard program and/or monitor personnel action requests.
Perform other duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) preparing status reports to management and performing clerical and administrative duties/tasks in support of an office; 2) maintaining office procedures and files of various types to ensure effective and efficient operation and 3) providing advice and guidance to the organization on administrative and procedural requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as [insert applicable field(s) of study].

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
