You will serve as a TRADEMARK LICENSING SPECIALIST in the TRADEMARK AND LICENSING OFFICE (TMLO) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will serve as the source of information for both internal and external audiences, ensuring that all licensees comply with established licensing agreements, surveils, pursues, and resolves trademark infringement activities. You will maintain a positive vendor and retailer environment, managing Interactions with licensing agents. You will respond to all Program-related requests for information such as data calls, prepare and presents program-related reports, briefs, presentations, and other documents as required or assigned. You will coordinate with the Office of Counsel for the Commandant to identify and secure appropriate trademark/service mark registrations.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the development and implementation of the organization's trademark licensing program, to include planning, managing, protecting, and promoting the use of the organization's logos, designs, trademarks, service marks, insignia, and other identifying materials.
