Duties

This position is located in the Office of Field Operations - Programs, National Center for Explosives Training and Research located in Huntsville, Alabama. NOTE: Must possess a valid driver's license and be capable of operating a motor vehicle.

Qualifications

To qualify for 14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized Experience is: Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of division programs, developing and evaluating procedures or policies; and Tracking and analyzing funds allocations, preparing budget reports for State and local overtime expenditures; and Initiating, planning, and directing studies, surveys, operational reviews, and other projects; and Preparing and submitting reports and other factual information for the effectiveness of existing policies, programs, and procedures.
