NIST is recruiting for a Administrative Support Assistant (OA) to serves as the Operation Unit (OU)'s NIST Associates Information System (NAIS) focal point.

Duties
This position will:
Serve as the Operation Unit (OU)'s NIST Associates Information System (NAIS) focal point, assisting employees and associates with the entry of personal information into NAIS and supports the process of bringing NIST Associates to the NIST campus or allowing them access to NIST resources.
Perform a range of clerical assignments with special emphasis on the NAIS initiation process and assisting in HSPD-12 sponsorships, runs reports, and responds to badging related inquiries.
Support the Operating Unit with general administrative activities and other duties as needed in the administrative areas consistent with supervisory direction, programmatic objectives, and NIST policies.

- Merit applicants must meet time-in-grade/band requirements, as applicable
- Must be able to self-certify typing 40 words per minute

Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-6 level (ZS-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience as an office support assistant to a division or group for a variety of administrative program areas; implementing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; experience with onboarding to include badging and security; experience providing customer service to clients and stakeholders.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
