You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT OFFICE of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will establish procedures to assess the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives. You will recommend corrective action to resolve program non-compliance and reverse adverse trends. You will create, review. process and coordinate Requests for Personnel Actions.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Researching information, e.g. position descriptions, codes etc., in order to properly prepare request/process personnel actions for FST Departments; 2) Articulating personnel laws, regulations, policies, precedents and practices to ensure the organization is complaint in all HR matters; 3) Advises supervisors and recommends appropriate recruitment action and their requirements to ensure best resources are used to hire most qualified candidates; and 4) Constructing analytical, evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. GS-09 Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector : 1) Creating, reviewing, processing and coordinating Requests for Personnel Actions to support the Workforce Office; 2) Utilizing of personnel laws, regulations, policies, precedents and practices to ensure the organization is complaint in all HR matters; 3) Advising supervisors and recommending appropriate recruitment action and requirements to ensure best resources are used to hire most qualified candidates; and 4) Demonstrating analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
