The primary purpose of this position is to provide expert analytical experience to establish and fulfill requirements for operational logistics, cyber planning support, assessments for ongoing cyber operations, contingency planning, mobilization, and exercises, and for real property support.
Duties
Analyzes and defines logistics requirements essential to support worldwide and deployed cyber operations. Leads and conducts comprehensive and complex logistics support analyses for the identification/design/production of transportable computing assets and transportable workspaces that facilitate highly-classified computing activities at remote locations.
Analyzes and defines logistics requirements and provides logistics support to operational planning, including deliberate and crisis action planning. Applies thorough knowledge of DoD, USAF, and USCYBERCOM policies and directives, joint logistics principles and concepts, and comprehensive understanding of USCYBERCOM- specific requirements and challenges to provide expert logistics advice.
Provides functional expertise to ensure logistics and readiness management processes are consistent with applicable guidance and policy. Provides oversight for and evaluates work products associated with logistical functions to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, and to resolve conflicts between the Command and external supporting activities.

- The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Sensitive Security Clearance with access to sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). must successfully complete initial and recurring counter-intelligence scope polygraph examinations.

This is a GG-13 position in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES).The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: (1) analyzing operational requirements, and in developing, performing and directing logistics management programs and actions required to support full spectrum cyberspace operations at Command headquarters and at locations worldwide (2) knowledge of the selection, extension and application of quantitative methods used to develop near-term to long-range (i.e., 5-10 years) studies and forecasts for logistics requirements, and demonstrated ability to document and justify conclusions and recommendations (3) apply project planning and management methods and tools to coordinate initiatives requiring the collaboration of multiple, functionally diverse teams, as well as the ability to use project management analytical tools to quantitatively evaluate the status and progress of individual efforts, assure their intersection at appropriate milestones, and critically assess the operational effectiveness of fielded logistics programs. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Ability to analyze operational requirements, and to develop, perform, and direct logistics management actions required to support cyber operations at Command headquarters and at locations worldwide.
2. Knowledge of and skill in interpreting and applying policy and process guidelines governing planning and management of DoD logistics support management requirements.
3. Ability to rapidly absorb and analyze information, determine essential elements of information, communicate, and operate effectively in a high operations tempo environment, such as a tactical operations center, joint operations center, or joint logistics operations center.
4. Ability to analyze logistics management functions and programs, and to identify, develop, and implement improved logistics processes.
5. Ability to apply communications skills to document and convey logistics support requirements, and to persuade others to take action on the Command's behalf.
6. Ability to apply project planning and management methods and tools to coordinate initiatives requiring the collaboration of multiple, functionally diverse teams.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
