This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: The position is located within US Army Aviation and Missile Command Security Assistance MGT Directorate; however, multiple vacancies maybe filled using this announcement.
Duties
Manage of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics programs.
Review, analyze and execute program activities.
Plan and conduct program level meeting to include working groups and program management reviews.
Maintain production status for weapon system deliveries in order to forward plan in conjunction foreign partner.as related to the foreign program necessary to keep the Security Assistance Management Directorate apprised of interface problems.
Maintain financials for all Partner Nations to Monitor stakeholder funds expenditure to ensure integrity on behalf of the Foreign Military Sales customer(s).
Maintain constant liaison with appropriate organizations related to day to day program activities and requirements by means of telephone, personal contacts, and meetings to assure the program stays on track.
Exercise program control of government agencies and contractors in the accomplishment of assigned program responsibilities, making necessary adjustments, modifications, and revisions to meet current and long range objectives.
Requirements
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level III (Life Cycle Logistics) in the Acquisition Career Field 13 - Supply Management within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- Financial Disclosure OGE 450 upon appointment and annually.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 10 lbs.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires a Secret Clearance.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes the four Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Core Functions: conducts international logistics programs review and analysis to identify problems, necessary resource adjustments, or program schedule revision; coordinates or implements short- and long-range international program execution plans; assures the availability and appropriate utilization of foreign customer funds; ensures appropriate coordination and cooperation in the development and management of international programs/cases.
