About the Position: This position is located within the 5th Medical Group, Medical Logistics Flight at Minot Air Force Base. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 4:30PM.
Duties
Provide technical assistance and guidance to supply specialists, operating officials, and employees on the regulatory requirements for submitting and processing a wide variety of supply transactions.
Input screening requests to obtain logistics data on existing national stock numbers.
Coordinate actions with transportation, production, or other supply units.
Develop lists of supply sources for items.
Compile special reports in response to audit, Inspector General (IG), and other requests.
Research different databases and publications to extract data.
Requirements
- Tier 1: Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes applying medical supply regulations, policies, and procedures; performing research to resolve supply errors; taking supply inventory and/or editing supply requisitions.
OR
Education: One full academic year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Logistics or Supply Chain Management. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: I have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have some graduate level education as described in B, but less than the required one year. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.).
