Duties

You will provide support to the Production Division by managing and accounting for materials, equipment and services. You will assist the Supply Branch staff in developing work methods, techniques and desk guides to improve the accuracy of inventory records. You will identify and assist in resolving discrepancies and improve system operation and efficiencies. You will provide PW Business Line (PWBL) services such as facility sustainment and maintenance, utility distribution maintenance, utility plant operations and vehicle maintenance. You will use MAXIMO to track, allocate, order, inventory and execute all supply operations for delivery of PWBL's products and services.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing an automated supply management system, MAXIMO, a web-based Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track, allocate, order, inventory and execute all supply operations for delivery of Public Works Business Line (PWBL) for NAVFAC; 2) Oversight of management of inventory in warehouses, shop stores (to include truck stocks), and staging areas. Material could be from deliveries from vendors, or unused material from completed work orders turned in by PW personnel. 3) Communicating both orally and in writing to develop local supply and inventory management procedures and reports; and 4) Complying with safety and hazardous material regulations, processes and procedures to ensure safe handling and to maintain a safe work environment. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
