This Administrative Services Division (ASD) position, reporting to the ASD Administrative Officer, is responsible for performing and analyzing a variety of management services essential to the direction and efficient operation of National Gallery programs.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for GS-0343-7. GS-07: Specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-05 grade level in the federal service, supporting a data analysis function or program the arts, culture, education, or other related fields. GS-09: Specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-07 grade level in the federal service, analyzing data and drawing conclusions based on those data, for an employer the arts, culture, education, or other related fields.  Those applicants who meet the minimum qualification requirements will be evaluated against these factors to determine the best-qualified candidates. Failure to provide a detailed description of relevant experience and/or education in your resume will automatically disqualify the candidate from employment consideration. Research and Analysis – Ability to define a problem, isolate its cause(s) and propose actions to address it. Parking Program Management – Skill in carrying out facets of a parking function. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration under merit promotion procedures. CTAP/ICTAP candidates: To be considered "well qualified" you must meet all of the requirements as described in this section. You must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
