You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst and Head of the Infrastructure Business Operations Department (D/EC50000) of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will lead a professional workforce that is responsible for the people, processes, knowledge and skills necessary to develop, plan and sustain a dynamic infrastructure capability.
You will motivate, coach, and guide the department leadership team's commitment and participation in the strategic planning process responsible for recruiting, training, and deploying a professional workforce.
You will develop and maintain Command awareness of facility policies.
You will ensure appropriate training and growth opportunities, act as a mentor to peers and subordinates, and encourage teammate participation in problem solving.
You will ensure department budget is developed and executed in support of Command tactical and strategic, mission-focused priorities and emphasis areas.

- This position requires travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13/14) or pay band (NM-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Program Analyst. Specialized experiences must include some or all of the following: (1) Demonstrating knowledge of military construction procedure and regulation; (2) Exhibiting knowledge of Sustainment Restoration and Modernization budgeting and policy; (3) Demonstrating experience in construction management and construction materials and methods; (4) Exhibiting experience with planning and estimating; and (5) Understanding of philosophy, general principles, logic, and procedures of facility planning and other asset management functions.
