You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Special Assistants, Command Suite, of NMRTC PORTSMOUTH VA.
Duties
You will serve as senior specialist.
You will be responsible for serving as Investigating Official at NMCP and the branch medical clinics for Inspector General (IG) hotline complaints emanating from higher authority.
You will conduct reviews including special reviews, studies analyses, investigations of financial operations and reviews of the use of command resources.
You will plan an approach to efficiently complete all requirements, assigns review phases to team members assigned, and consolidates the work of staff members into a comprehensive report.
You will review operations to ensure that effective administrative controls exist to monitor operations, fix accountability, identify waste and ensure the most efficient and economical use of resources.
You will monitor , prepare and maintain timekeeping documentation for Command Evaluation.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:.
Experience planning, conducting, evaluating and reporting on investigations.
Experience planning and conducting program assessments, including, but not limited to internal reviews, studies, or audits.
Experience assessing compliance with instructions, regulations, and public laws.
Experience conducting interviews
Experience reporting findings and recommendations, in writing and briefs to senior level officials.
Experience following up on program assessments to determine whether recommended actions were implemented.
Experience using quantitative and qualitative techniques to analyze data to identify trends.
Experience supervising teams.
For GS=11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:.
Experience planning, conducting, evaluating and reporting on investigations.
Experience conducting inspections
Experience documenting findings and recommendations in a written report
Experience briefing senior level officials
Experience using quantitative and qualitative techniques to analyze data and identify trends.
Experience supervising teams.
