This position is in Office of Land and Emergency Management (OLEM), Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation (ORSTI), Resources Management Division (RMD), Contracts Management Branch (CMB). About OLEM
This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. Partial work-from-home flexibilities may be authorized.

Qualifications
We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as experience in the development of methodologies/assumptions for conducting special projects designed to evaluate the effectiveness of national and regional policy/program efforts to meet strategic program goals.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of program management techniques.
Knowledge of Superfund remedial program.
Knowledge of EPA and Federal Government procurement regulations.
Ability to evaluate program operations.
Ability to develop strategies and guidance to support obtaining services for remediation activities.
Skill in planning, organizing and directing team efforts.
Ability to communicate orally.
Knowledge in development and/or interpretation of guidance on program planning, management and evaluation in the area of remedial response contracts.
Knowledge of the federal procurement process.
Skill to evaluate and assess contract performance using measures and metrics.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
