About the Position: This position is located within the 375th Medical Group, Education and Training Department at Scott Air Force Base. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 4:30PM.
Duties
Conduct trainings, and other course materials for lectures, demonstrations, and orientations
Update the forms, internal policies, educational and classroom calendars, annual training or orientation schedules, instructions, and guidance on SharePoint sites to ensure current/accurate information is posted.
Evaluate training needs in terms of outcomes and recommends organizational or Career Program funding needed to support Career Program plans.
Provides general educational and career development assistance.
Advise managers and staff on enrollment procedures in order to complete the Foundation and grade specific Civilian Education System (CES) Courses.
Promote the use of Army Civilian Training, Education, and Development System (ACTEDS) Plans when preparing Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
Requirements
- Tier 1: Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
- This position requires the incumbent to have tuberculosis testing.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza
vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be
provided upon hire).
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative support such as preparing written communication, maintaining files, or answering the telephone; providing technical support to a training function; and managing training materials and/or equipment.
