You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the TRAVEL PROCESSING CENTER of PERS SUPPORT DET MEMPHIS. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12024975-23-ALV. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.

Duties

You will administer a Manager Internal Control (MIC) Program policy to minimize program risks You will prepare formal correspondence for approval by senior leaders. You will advise managers on procedures for security determinations and employee rights. You will implement enterprise resource planning (e.g., budget, accounting, procurement, contracts) to track financial standings You will conduct organization-wide evaluations of administrative process to increase efficiency and productivity You will use an automated request system (e.g., Electronic Requisition System [ERS] or similar system) to request supplies or material

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the(GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Managing daily operations of administrative programs and services; ensuring timely submission and compliance with directives, regulations and procedures; 2) Preparing and finalizing correspondence, reports, retrieving, and formatting information for various sources; 3) Confirming the identification and initiating the process of obtaining a common access card (CAC) for contract personnel; 4) Monitoring official travel and ensuring compliance with travel regulations; 5) Requesting, reviewing, and maintaining security clearance information for military and civilian staff members.
