You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD HAMPTON ROADS. Pay Scale: GS-07: $ 47,273 - 61,454 GS-09: $ 57,824 - 75,168

Duties

You will use computer systems and software applications in the design of instructional material for instructor-led and Integrated Learning Environment (ILE) initiatives. You will help others to resolve issues with course curriculum, testing programs and computer-based training systems. You will brief management to provide a current status on resources and training programs. You will coordinate with personnel for timely submission of training needs for the command. You will resolve potential training problems by identifying issues and proposing solutions or developing approaches to solve the problem. You will assist in the evaluation and monitoring of training courses and training programs.

Qualifications

GS7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing of conventional and established training methods, techniques and tools in order to design and develop training courses and materials, evaluate training programs, and/complete special projects. (2) Assisting with development of curriculum support documents such as Training Project Plans, Training Course Control Documents, Lesson Plan, Trainee Guide and Instructional Media Materials and Testing Plans. (3) Utilizing Authoring Instructional Materials, Content Planning Module/Learning Object Module authoring tools software and of Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARs) program GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Utilizing at a skilled level of conventional and established training methods, techniques and tools in order to design and develop training courses and materials, evaluate training programs, lead and complete special projects and implement program and procedural changes and process improvements. (2) Overseeing development of curriculum support documents such as Training Project Plans, Training Course Control Documents, Lesson Plan, Trainee Guide and Instructional Media Materials and Testing Plans. (3) Utilizing Authoring Instructional Materials, Content Planning Module/Learning Object Module authoring tools software, Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARs) program and various training support databases used to update course materials to include complete whole or new courses of instruction, changes or course revisions.
