About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Cyber Center of Excellence, Fort Gordon, GA.
Duties
Determines personnel and facility requirements to support resident and nonresident training programs conducted by the CCOE.
Provides input to the development of Emergency and Mobilization Plans, encompassing all activities of the school, development of related mobilization, and mobilization designee Table of Distributions and Allowances for different activities.
Serves as the principal plans, requirements, and scheduling officer providing expertise in various specialized areas of training, planning, and programming for the organization training mission.
Coordinates in-progress reviews (IPRs) meetings and conferences to address any issues associated with CCOE courses.
Provides advice and assistance to the CCOE ACoS G-3/5/7 and other schools activities on matters pertaining to the training mission of the schools, particularly in school requirements and academic programs.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) for the duration of employment.
- One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by at least one year experience scheduling and validating classes in the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS); knowledge at least one year staffing, processing and submitting Training Resources Arbitration Panel (TRAPs) to TRADOC; ability to identify and solve problems with requirements and resources while keeping the courses informed of any adjustments; at least one year of experience providing quality written and oral reports to leaders at the COL/GG15 level; at least one year experience providing support (extrapolating data, setting up meetings, making any necessary adjustments in ATRRS) for the annual Structure Manning Decision Review (SMDR); at least one year of experience leading and managing personnel.
