About the Position: The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) develops and delivers responsive aviation, missile and calibration materiel readiness to the U.S. Army. We believe in "Mission First, People Always" to enable the synchronized aviation, missile and calibration materiel enterprises.
The position is located within AMCOM Logistics Center, Materiel Support Directorate - AWCF; however, multiple vacancies maybe filled using this announcement.
Duties
Plan, direct, coordinate, market, and review assigned areas of the logistics program in support of Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Project Managers (PMs), the U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command.
Direct, develop, and/or implement logistics policies, processes, initiatives and/or programs for major, highly complex weapon systems acquisition for Logistics Support.
Ensure compliance with policies and recommends policy changes to fit requirements of new systems.
Plan, design, modify, test, analyze, budget, and evaluate program execution functions.
Requirements
- The positions requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- The incumbent may be required to travel for position 15% of the time.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level I in Life Cycle Logistics within 36 months of entrance on duty.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing solutions to functional problems utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning systems, for a weapon system; assisting in the development of policies related to logistics support/weapon system management; and preparing briefings for all levels of management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
