About the Position: Administers and serve as the primary point of contact for the Disability Evaluation System program to support service members by reviewing medical records and interpreting policy. Also serves as the Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer. Coordinating disability case actions, collecting medical records and counseling members regarding process and results of medical board.

Duties

Manage the Disability Evaluation System for the facility. Interpret data for the Disability Evaluation System such as performance, and work processes. Serve as the Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer (PEBLO) for the facility. Provide executive staff and/or leadership with updates on caseload.

Requirements

• Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
• This position may require the incumbent to work on any day or shift, including PMs, nights, weekends, holidays, or on an "on call" basis, necessary to meet mission requirements.
• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
• This position requires that you obtain and maintain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
