About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position as the Antiterrorism Officer (Garrison) located at the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (DPTMS), Fort Jackson, SC.
ELIGIBLE FOR SITUATIONAL TELEWORK ONLY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY AND OPM PRESCRIBED "UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK".
Duties
Directs the development, implementation, and operation of an integrated Antiterrorism program.
Conducts comprehensive review, analysis and synchronization of assigned units/agencies, tenants, sub-commands and garrison Antiterrorism plans.
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating emergency response programs
Responsible for executing and monitoring the Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program (CVAMP) for the garrison.
Provides technical guidance, oversight, and direction to the garrison unit Antiterrorism Officers and action officers on the garrison.
Conducts comprehensive review and analysis of the garrison's Antiterrorism plan, assessments, and survey reports for compliance with existing policies, procedures and supporting documents.
Recommends revision of local policy as a result of trends discovered in the review and analysis process
Provides policy and written technical guidance to be issued as command directive and prepares official correspondence for implementation of the AT Program for the garrison Leadership.
Coordinates implementation of Antiterrorism Plans.
Coordinates with Intelligence and Law Enforcement Agencies to develop Risk, Vulnerability and Criticality Assessments.
Guides crisis management planning and execution in the event of a terrorist attack.
Requirements

- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing risk assessment investigations; analyzing and complying with Antiterrorism program policies and procedures; advising staff and organizations on Antiterrorism program policies, procedures, and operations; and evaluating an installation's Antiterrorism plan performance, identifying deficiencies and recommending solutions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS- 11).
