The Networking Directorate provides operational support services to the House that ensure reliable and dependable connectivity to the House Data Network both on the House Campus and to over 820 District Offices as well as numerous Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) sites, facilities, and mobile capabilities.

Duties

The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides operations support services and business solutions to the community of 10,000 House Members, Officers and staff. The CAO organization comprises more than 600 technical and administrative staff working in a variety of areas, including information technology, finance, budget management, human resources, payroll, child care, food and vending, procurement, logistics and administrative counsel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3 years of experience designing and supporting large scale campus LAN and wireless networks. Knowledge of TCP, UDP, QoS, SNMP, HTTP, SMTP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP Experience in contract management, project management, SDLC, and change management processes required.  Experience with Cisco and Aruba wireless enterprise hardware required Proficiency in Ekahau Site Survey Pro. Previous experience conducting wireless site surveys in office and large campus environments.
