This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing, developing, promulgating, advising and monitoring those policies, procedures and special projects required to assure that the Security Cooperation (SC) and Security Assistance (SA) Analyst operates in an effective and responsive manner throughout the DoD.

Duties

As a PROGRAM ANALYST (SC FUTURE DEMAND) at the GS-0343-13/14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Establishing and maintaining contact with key personnel in the Military Departments, the Joint Staff, within OSD, the Bureau of Politic Military Affairs of the Department of State, Department of Commerce, Department of Homeland Security and other Executive Branch agencies, in order to ensure that consistent and timely approaches are taken in fulfilling USG commitments under SC/SA authorities. Develops, coordinates, and establishes SC and SA program assessments of international partner future demand requirements for increased efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in compliance with legislation USG policies, procedures, and statutes. Provides intensive program management of high priority SA/SC programs, policies, procedures and initiatives within the responsibility of the incumbent.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Coordinating Security Cooperation or Security Assistance program assessments of international partner future demand requirements.; O You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Developing and establishing Security Cooperation or Security Assistance program assessments of international partner future demand requirements and advising stakeholders on global, regional, and individual foreign partner demand capabilities, trends and constraints.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
