About the Position: Serve as the regional program manager and regional technical expert for Quality Management, Knowledge Management, and Business Process Improvement (BPI) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, Business Management Division.
This is a planned management action in the Business Management Division at LRD, Headquarters in Cincinnati, OH. No vacancy exists.
Duties
Serves as the regional program manager and regional technical expert for Quality Management, Knowledge Management, and Business Process Improvement (BPI).
Responsible for managing the regional quality management, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and knowledge management programs for the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.
Serve as the program manager for the division?s quality management system (QMS) that supports the execution of civil works and military programs.
Lead regional quality assurance and management controls programs to ensure compliance with regulations and ISO-9001standards.
Lead the performance improvement program across the division to improve civil works and military programs performance and efficiency.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes managing quality management, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and knowledge management for civil works and military programs; performing quality assurance and management controls programs to ensure compliance with regulations; and managing quality management related Automated Information Systems (AIS).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
