You will serve as a SUPERVISORY TECHNICAL DIRECTOR in the Integrated Joint Fires Center (J8IJF), Joint Innovation and Experimentation Division (J81), of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will work with members from all uniformed services, DOD civilians and coalition partners to develop solutions and recommendations.
You will plan, organize, and lead others in comprehensive studies or projects and preparing accurate, technically sound recommendations.
You will describe situations, problems, analyses and conclusions in a clear and succinct manner to general/flag officers, senior staff, and international partners.
You will distinguish between technical and non-technical audiences and tailor communications to achieve desired Headquarters messaging.
You will be responsible for the development, direction, and implementation of the Integrated Joint Fires Center (IJFC) and its future plans to achieve integrated joint effects throughout the Indo-Pacific AOR.
You will be responsible for policy planning and guidance on integrated joint all-domain fires and
associated intelligence support to targeting and assessment of desired effects.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, demonstrating mastery knowledge of, and skill in applying, policy and planning concepts/practices and interrelations of multiple IT disciplines. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following:
Utilizing and understanding IT policies, processes and procedures along with demonstrated experience in Joint network planning, execution, and assessment.
Applying and integrating joint lethal and non-lethal fires across a common data layer leveraging real time intelligence.
Developing and analyzing new policies, processes and procedures related to Joint Campaign, Contingency, and Crisis Action response processes and procedures.
Executing information, non-kinetic, and cyber operation assessment frameworks.
Understanding of military command structure, military staff organization, and operations at a Combatant Command or equivalent strategic-level organization.
Establishing and maintaining extensive liaison with multiple Tier 0 organizations both within and outside of the DoD.
Negotiating effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations for command positions on extremely sensitive, highly classified and vitally important capabilities.
Communicating the organization's position on an issue to a broad global audience by telephone, video teleconference, and by traveling to interact personally.
