Duties
You will process travel vouchers in accordance with the JTR, FMR, and command business rules.
You will run reports in DTS to include, but not limited to, Pending Airline Cancellation Report, Signed Status, Depart Status, Approved Status, and Routing Status.
You will administer the finance/accounting processes within DTS. Update/add lines of accounting (LOA).
You will provide notification of indebtedness to traveler and ensure due process is served. Provide instructions on the waiver/appeal process.
You will ensure compliance with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) policy and regulations.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
GS-09
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: administering, utilizing, or updating travel system to process travel authorizations and vouchers; and receiving or detaching personnel, updating profiles, assigning user roles and setting permission levels, creating and maintaining routing lists, and running reports.
GS-07:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with administering, utilizing, or updating travel system to process travel authorizations and vouchers; and receiving or detaching personnel, updating profiles, assigning user roles and setting permission levels, creating and maintaining routing lists, and running reports.

Education
You may use education in lieu of experience with the following:
GS-09:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
GS-07:
1 full year of graduate level education
or
superior academic achievement
