About the Position: This is a Military Technician position with the 9th Mission Support Command, Theater Support Group, Directorate of Human Resources located at Fort Shafter Flats, Hawaii. This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set. Duties

Process, audit and edit complex pay actions. Review military pay transactions and reports to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Train others on the use of automated systems. Provide technical expertise to supported Soldiers. Research and analyze a variety of information sources for personnel requirements. Establish and maintain files pertaining to personnel, finance and administrative activities. Provide responses to complex pay complaints and issues. Develop statistical material and reports.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR).
  • Occasional temporary duty travel may be required.
  • The duties of this position may require the incumbent to work evenings, nights, holidays, and/or weekends to include modification in shifts and/or tour of duty.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
