You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCE DEPARTMENT of EXPED WARFARE TRNG GRP PACIFIC.

Duties

You will formulate budgets and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will review and evaluate budget request, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers. You will track and control funds for special programs. You will compile, analyze, and summarize financial budget information related to assigned areas of financial programs.

• This is a Financial Management Level 1certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• You will be required to posses and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to posses and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: using automated systems to analyze and reconcile invoicing/payment documents in support of a financial program. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
