About the Position: The Alaska District is seeking to fill a financial management analyst position located in the Finance & Accounting Branch. An ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of methods and procedures pertaining to un-liquidated obligations, TDY/PCS authorizations/vouchers, government travel card, and payroll/timekeeping actions, to include excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, detail-oriented, and exceptional customer service skills.

Duties

Provides advice on how the accounting system functions to serve management's business needs based upon their access to detailed records, and system operational information. Manages the Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP) to ensure accounting information is complete and accurate. Reviews and integrates higher headquarters guidance and policy statements, directives, and pertinent financial regulations into local agency policy. • THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012. Incumbent of this position is required to obtain this certification within the required time.
