Duties

You will drive toward the next generation of secure, scalable, and smart data and analytics systems that help our customers perceive, visualize, and make decisions about their environment. You will be part of engineering teams that design and integrate specialized systems and sensors that assemble, store, synergize, and build understanding of information and intelligence. You will build and lead cross-functional teams in research, design, development, test deployment and sustainment activities for Warfighting, Business, and Readiness systems and capabilities.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 632 level Advanced (A) within 12 months of appointment.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TS/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-12 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: knowledge of data science methods and concepts to effectively enable Artificial Intelligence, Autonomy, Analysis applications; experience leading, developing, managing technical teams, and skill in communicating effectively orally and in writing. Your experience in the information technology field must reflect skills in the following areas: 1. Problem Solving: Systems Engineering and administration of Intelligence Systems and Subsystems. 2. Oral Communication: Reviewing requirements documentation to determine suitable solutions in support. 3. Customer Service: Developing hardware and software design changes while leading program integration events. 4. Attention to Detail: Management of an Integrated Master Schedule and identification and management of risks.
