You will serve as a Supervisory Engineering Technician in the Equipment Engineering Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will serve as technical advisor to the Plant Support Services on all administrative support functions.
You will continually refine facility requirements and make recommendations to management based on customer needs and requests and overall plant requirements.
You will develop a Equipment Acquisition Strategy to address shortfalls and an Equipment Disposition I Rehabilitation Strategy to address excess or obsolete equipment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service. Experience is defined as an understanding of Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI). Examples of specialized experience must include one of the following; 1) Knowledge skills and abilities with subtractive (CNC), additive (3D Printing), process (plating, cleaning, NDI) manufacturing; 2) Planning, programming, budgeting, implementing, maintaining, evaluating, and reporting facilities and equipment requirements, Industrial Production Support; 3) Managing logistical elements for establishing capability in industrial organizations; 4) Project management duties such as developing milestones and schedules.
